Viking Invasion

This weekend I traveled to Utrecht to see the "Nordic Delights Festival." I headed over with a few friends in the morning and we explored Utrecht's city center for a while. We saw the Dom, which is a disconnected bell tower, and walked through streets, shops, and the market. It was a pretty nice city. The canals were freaking me out though, because they are so far down from street level. Way different from the canals in Leiden (or really any other ones that I've seen). We grabbed a bite to eat in a random little restaurant before we attempted to find the festival.

Getting to the festival was interesting, seeing as we didn't know exactly we were going. It took a while, but we eventually figured it out. When we got there, we were a bit freaked out since it was inside an old warehouse, but once we got inside, it was alright. There were three different rooms with music (mostly chill stuff, but of course there was some intense, bass-blaring stuff). It was pretty cool, but sadly, I wasn't feeling too well, so I left early. Most definitely an interesting experience though!!
